The ten week First Testament Law and Narrative module explores and evaluates the different ways First Testament Law and Narrative may be read. This module has been taught at Wesley College Bristol and WEMTC.
The course examines First Testament law in its canonical context and explores how law functioned and was viewed in Israelite society. It also explores how Narrative works in the Hebrew Bible. It considers the implications of having a legal & narrative theology and how it may be authoritative for Christians today. The WEMTC module also includes significant work on preaching Law and Narrative.
